Keystone Automotive Industries Receives ISO 9001 Certification

POMONA, Calif., Oct. 10, 2002 -- Keystone Automotive Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq:KEYS) today announced it has been registered for ISO 9001 certification by NSF International Strategic Registrations, Ltd., a global leader in quality management registrations.

NSF International thoroughly audited Keystone's quality system and found it to be in complete compliance with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2000 Quality Management System (QMS), the global standard for quality assurance. NSF International will conduct annual audits to verify continued conformance and to contribute to process improvements.
